After selecting 1 or 2, press Hand ON to give the RUN command to the drive. Wait until the drive completes the automatic identification and exits RUN mode.
(Motor nameplate data must be entered before performing this process.)
After completion, press the AUTO ON button on the drive.

Note:
To prevent the drive from giving a Safe Torque error, a jumper cable must be connected between terminal 12 or 13 and terminal 37.

To check whether the encoder direction matches the motor direction, set parameter 1-00 to 0 = Speed Open Loop, start the drive, and observe the polarity (+/−) of the motor output speed on the upper left of the display and the polarity (+/−) of the feedback (encoder) speed on the upper right.
If both speeds have the same polarity, the drive can then be switched to closed-loop mode via parameter 1-00.

If the drive is running at maximum speed (with a 50 Hz reference) but the output frequency appears low, and the customer prefers to use frequency instead of speed as a reference, set parameter 4-14 to 50 Hz. Then enter the newly calculated speed value into parameter 4-13, and also into parameters 3-03 and 6-15.
In this case, the speed value may appear high, but the frequency will be displayed as 50 Hz on the screen.
