Danfoss Drive Error Codes
W13) Overcurrent: This error means that the inverter's maximum current limit has been exceeded.
W14) Ground Fault: This error occurs when there is a discharge from the output phases to ground.
W16) Short Circuit: This error occurs as a result of a short circuit in the motor or motor terminals.
W17) Control Word Time-out: This error occurs when communication with the frequency converter cannot be established or communication is lost.
W25) Brake Resistor Short-Circuit: This error occurs when the brake resistor is short-circuited and therefore the brake function is disconnected.
W27) Brake Chopper Short-Circuit: This error occurs when the brake transistor is short-circuited, thereby disconnecting the brake function.
W28) Brake Check: This error occurs when the brake resistor is not connected.
W29 ) Power Board Over Temp (Power Board Overheating): This fault is caused by the heat sink reaching its cut-off temperature.
W30-31-32) Motor Phase U or V or W Missing: This fault is caused by one of the phases from the motor terminals not being present.
W38) Internal Fault: This error occurs due to a technical fault in the driver or control board. It can be caused by a swollen capacitor, a shorted resistor, an open diode, etc.
W44) Ground Fault: This fault is caused by discharge from the output phases to ground.
W47) Control Voltage Fault: This fault is caused by the 24 V DC voltage being overloaded.
W51 ) AMA Check Unom And Inom (AMA Unom and Inom value check): This fault is caused by incorrect parameter settings for the motor voltage or current.
W52 ) AMA Low Inom (AMA Low Inom): This fault is caused by the motor current being too low. You should check this.
W59 ) Current Limit : This error is caused by an overload in the frequency converter.
W63 ) Mechanical Brake Low : This error is caused by the motor current failing to exceed the “Brake Release Current” in the “Start Delay Time” window.
W80 ) Frequency Converter Initialised to Default Value: This error indicates that all parameter settings have been reset to their default values.
W84) Connection Between Frequency Converter and LCP Lost: This error occurs because there is no connection between the LCP and the frequency converter.
W85) Key Disabled: This error can be corrected using the 0-4* LCP parameters.
W86) Copy Fail: This error occurs due to a copying error between the frequency converter and the LCP.
W87) LCP Data Invalid: This error occurs due to incorrect or unloaded data in the LCP.
W89) Parameter Read Only: This error occurs when an attempt is made to write to a read-only parameter.
